Team trivia for remote and office teams
A trivia round is one of the easiest ways to get a team talking. With Better Trivia the host shares one screen, and everyone answers on the phone or laptop they already have - nothing to install and nobody has to make an account.
Two ways to play
- On a video call. The host shares the host screen; everyone types the join code at
/play(or opens the link the host posts in the chat) and answers on their own device. - In the office. Put the host screen on a meeting-room TV and have people scan the QR code with their phones.
Why it suits a team
- Everyone is in within a minute. Join with a code and a name - no sign-up, no download.
- Fair scoring across connections. Every answer is timed against the same server clock, so home Wi-Fi doesn't decide the winner. Quicker correct answers score higher, with a bonus for streaks.
- Your own questions. Write questions about your company, product or inside jokes, add pictures or a short YouTube clip, or start from a ready-made quiz.
- A running leaderboard. Team names carry over from one game to the next, so a monthly team round builds up a standing.
What it costs
Players never need an account. Hosting a game needs a subscription. New subscribers start with a 14-day trial; you can cancel any time. See the Subscription page for the price and the billing terms for the details. The demo needs no sign-up.
